Deal with Foreigner

Indonesia is such a beautiful country. We got many great destinations to travel in such as Bali, Yogyakarta, Raja Ampat, Bunaken, Komodo Island, etc. But not just the places, Indonesia is well known for the food and the people as well. Every year Indonesia attracts many tourists to come, for example in 2015 there were more than 10 thousand people came to enjoy all of the beauty of Indonesia.

Indonesian is known as friendly people, not just to the fellow citizens, but they are extremely admired towards foreigners. They treat them as SUPERIOR. Trust me, whenever Indonesian see foreigners around them, they will be calling them admirebly and even taking picture with them as they are taking it with celebrities. I didn’t say that being friendly is a bad thing, but doing it too much is unjustified.

Look how happy they were, i bet your eyes will get distracted by the woman on the left side, i thought she didn’t realize what she’s holding, but if you take a closer look, i think she’s doing it in purpose.

What the.... lol

That’s just an example, it will be need a long tiring day to write all my experiences whenever i go hang out with him. At first he’s so shock, wherever he goes they act truly the same. Even on the road, they stop the cars, open the window and shout “Bule” to him. Ridiculous! he’s not a rare species nor an alien though. But fortunately after weeks, he’s getting used to it, and kind of like it! I mean who doesn’t like to be treated as a celebrity?

So here im asking, why do we treat them like that? Why do we feel that they are so high above us when actually there’s no big difference between us? I assume that even their burglar surely can be a celebrity here. 

Taking a  picture with him while the house get robbed doesn’t sound bad huh?

I do not know what’s really happen back then, why do our people have the thought? I probably need to do some researches and look back through our history first. But before i take a really long and tiring research and get my head goes bald, here’s my personal rush opinion, im sure this is one of the side effects of being colonized, yes im quitely sure it is. Look, we cheer them yet we used to bring our own people down. We are extremely falling deep into the trap, it’s a constipation! Uhh no, i mean conspiracy!! Sorry from being exaggerate, but it isn’t so wrong though

Then how to deal with them? How do we suppose to treat them? Just act as you usually do infront of a human being dude! We are completely the same! Do they eat diamond, gold  (ok yeah some of them do), emerald, and all the gemstones? Nope, they eat human’s food same as us. Can they fly while we can’t? Nope, we walk on the same ground, the same Earth. But most of them are smarter than us right? Hey come on, Indonesia has won many gold medals in both Academics and Sports. We are not the lowest on every list! But uuhm yeah probably just our behaviour does.

So, from now on, please stop being overreacting whenever and wherever you meet or see them around. Do you ever see any foreigner gone crazy when an Indonesian spotted in their country? No body does!

So why should we?
